There are several ways to flag and un-flag an article:
- When in the Headline View, either long press (touch device) or long click (through web on desktop) on any headline (about 1 second). The screen will flash and a confirmation alert will pop-up for a moment either telling you "Success! Article Has Been Flagged" or "Success! Article Has Been Unflagged" to positively confirm what has happened. You will also see a little green flag appear to the right of the author and time line if you are flagging an article (the little green flag will disappear if you are un-flagging the article).
- On touch devices you can also, in the Headline View, slide your finger from right to left to reveal an additional menu. One of the items in that menu is the "flag" icon. Again, this will either flag or un-flag the article (depending on if the article was already flagged or un-flagged to start).
- If you are in the Reader View (this is the view you see of the specific article when you click on an article headline. You start in the RSS Reader View of the article and you can click through to the full website to be in the Website Reader View. In both cases you will see a black bar across the bottom of the page with buttons on the left and right side of the black bar), click on the flag icon in the bottom right corner. The icon will turn green and you will get a confirmation alert pop-up for a moment telling you "Success! Article Has Been Flagged" (If the flag icon is already green that means it is flagged and thus clicking/touching it will un-flag it giving you the confirmation alert pop-up for a moment telling you "Success! Article Has Been Unflagged"). When you go out to the Headline View, if you flagged the article you will see a little green flag appear to the right of the author and time line indicating the article is flagged (the little green flag will disappear if you are un-flagging the article).
